ABOUT Dr Sara Bovee

Dr. Bovee has served as part of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals in a variety of contexts, including inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings. Her experience includes providing psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and program and policy development. Much of her work has included working with clients in a psycho-legal context, focusing on assessment and treatment of impaired sexual behavior and general mental health disorders. Dr. Vaccarella serves as the Clinical Director at MAPBHC; in this role, she is the Training Director for the MAPHC and Kartta Group doctoral internship consortium, she helps to coordinate clinical training activities, and she supervises counseling students and post-graduate clinicians and psychologists.
