ABOUT Erin Casanova
Erin is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor providing therapy to adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She has extensive experience working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and other forms of interpersonal trauma, and is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can process their experiences at their own pace.
With clinical experience across community mental health and private practice settings, Erin brings a trauma-informed, feminist-oriented approach to her work. Her approach recognizes the impact of systemic, relational, and cultural factors on emotional well-being, while centering empowerment, autonomy, and self-trust in the healing process. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to support clients in building emotional regulation skills, processing trauma, and reconnecting with their values and sense of self.
In addition to her trauma-focused work, Erin supports clients navigating perinatal mental health concerns, including pregnancy, postpartum experiences, infertility, and pregnancy loss. She is also an affirming ally to the LGBTQ+ community and provides inclusive, identity-affirming care for clients of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
Erin approaches therapy as a collaborative process grounded in safety, trust, and authenticity. She believes meaningful change occurs when clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to move at a pace that feels right for them. Her goal is to support clients in developing greater self-compassion, resilience, and clarity as they work toward lives that feel more aligned and meaningful.
