ABOUT Candace LaCosse

As your therapist, I will strive to create a warm and safe space without judgment to meet you where you are. Life and all that comes with it can be overwhelming at times, and taking some time to breathe and gain perspective can be incredibly impactful. Using a client-centered, solutions-based approach, I believe small, daily changes can add up to big, lifelong impacts.

Improving our relationship with ourselves and others can have a ripple effect throughout our entire lives, and I will help you identify your strengths and goals to move forward, wherever you are. The most experience I have is to help guide clients who are facing fertility struggles, those who have experienced postpartum or hormonal transitions. Other areas I am passionate about include career transitions and helping others explore new and diverse opportunities. I will help you on your journey through many transitions in life, particularly prenatal/postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, and career changes. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness, and am passionate about somatic practices, mindfulness, and herbalism.

For the past 15 years, I have fostered community and connection through the preservation of and teaching of traditional crafts, primarily shoemaking and leatherwork, throughout the country, as well as through my brick-and-mortar and art gallery space in Duluth, Minnesota. These experiences have enabled me to guide individuals in encouraging the growth and expansion of their personal gifts. I love helping people discover and pursue what brings them joy.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my son and our mini dachshund, doing anything outdoors, but especially swimming in Lake Superior, cooking, traveling, and making just about anything and everything.
