ABOUT Aliyah Harris

Hello and welcome! I believe that feeling safe and understood is the foundation of meaningful therapy. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, be yourself, and feel supported without judgment. And yes, there is always room for warmth and laughter. I meet all clients where they are at, and strive to honor and respect all backgrounds and experiences.

Taking the step to reach out for therapy can feel intimidating or uncertain. Whether this is your first time or you’re returning, you do not need to have everything figured out to begin.

I’m passionate about supporting teens and adults through anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and the changes that come with growth. I also help clients build coping skills for life’s twists and turns, including those navigating relationship difficulties, ADHD, or seeking trauma-informed care. My goal is to offer a genuine, empowering space that meets you where you are.

I’m currently a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. As I continue my training, I stay committed to learning, growing, and providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care.

Outside of therapy, you’ll usually find me hiking, practicing yoga, or snowboarding. I have a deep love for creative expression through music and painting, spending time with loved ones, and simply enjoying the beautiful Duluth outdoors.

I approach therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we move at a pace that feels right for you and focus on what is most meaningful in your life. I would be honored to walk alongside you!
