We now offer telehealth for WI residents

In order to make behavioral health services more accessible to our community members, MAP offers telemental health*, or online counseling services.

Insurance:

For our out of state therapists, we are considered Out of Network (OON) except for Security Health Plan.

Please check with your insurance if you have OON benefits because many health plans have OON benefits and will cover mental health therapy. However, not all will cover telemental health.

Payment:

We request that you pay for your session at the time you schedule. Our intake support staff will help take your payment over the phone, or you can pay directly on our website.

For a typical eTherapy session (45/50 min), session fees range from $100 - $200 depending on the therapist.

Why Wisconsin?

We know that trying to find a therapist may be difficult for those living in the metro area or on college campuses: it's tough to find openings quickly. By law, mental health professionals can only see clients in the state they have a license in. Therefore, if you live in Wisconsin, you need to see a therapist who has a Wisconsin license to practice therapy.
