We now offer telehealth for WI residents

In order to make behavioral health services more accessible to our community members, MAP offers telemental health*, or online counseling services.

Insurance:

For our out-of-state therapists, we are considered Out-of-Network (OON).

Please check with your insurance provider to see if you have OON benefits, as many plans offer them and will cover mental health therapy. However, not all will cover telemental health.

Why Wisconsin?

We know that trying to find a therapist may be difficult for those living in the metro area or on college campuses: it's tough to find openings quickly. By law, mental health professionals can only see clients in the state they have a license in. Therefore, if you live in Wisconsin, you need to see a therapist who has a Wisconsin license to practice therapy.

*Telemental Health uses HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms, which involve online video-conferencing and guarantee client confidentiality.
