Meet the map makers - paul baecker

Paul Baecker, NCC, LPCC

My name is Paul and I get the joy of working with kids and young adults everyday. I love active therapy where we can merge the outside world with the inside one as much as possible. Much of the homework I assign kiddos are outdoor based activities. When I am not at my desk I am flying around somewhere on an adventure with my kids of my own. I love hazelnuts and goat milk and all things green, including the Packers. I love Bon Iver and enjoy many types of music that I can ride bike to. The craziest thing about me is that I don’t play hockey. I am from a buffalo farm in southern Wisconsin where not many sports existed other than baling hay with my 4 siblings. I married a gal from Germany and we go there every chance we get to try to give our kids a mix of both American and German cultures. Currently that is where I am working from for the time being and I’ll be back in the summer when all that snow is gone. And that’s me.
